O autoru

Junot Díaz je rođen u Dominikanskoj Republici, a odrastao je u New Jerseyju. Autor je zbirke pripovjedaka Drown, romana Kratki čudnovati život Oscara zvanog Wao, za koji je 2008. godine dobio Pulitzerovu nagradu te Nagradu nacionalnog udruženja kritičara. Zbirku priča I tako je izgubiš “New York Times“ je 2012. godine proglasio jednom od sto najboljih knjiga te godine. Predaje kreativno pisanje na MIT-u.
